New Representation
And why I feel it's important that I'm represented by an Agency.
It’s been a while since I’ve written here so I wanted to share with you the exciting news that I’m now being represented by Paul Black a the Bright Agency!
It feels like a great fit for me and my illustrations / brand. I not only enjoy illustrating children’s books, I love collaborating with companies and licensing my designs for products too.

*I often get asked why I need to be represented by an Agency / Agent. In an increasingly competitive climate, it can be quite a challenge at times to make a living as an illustrator. It’s vital that I have an Agent because it frees up much needed headspace for me to create and draw (which is what I most enjoy), instead of trying to pitch for work, create on a speculative basis and deal with incredibly challenging contracts. (Which can be a nightmare!) . My Agency pitches on my behalf and is far better at sharing my work than me! I’m quite shy and introvert and am super grateful that I have an Agency that has my back and is championing my work.
